Coming from other TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh, Hearthstone, etc., Shadowverse was an extremely refreshing experience for me. Although it shares similar mechanics to the HS, there are many more mechanics available in the SV compared to most other TCGs. Developers are also genuinely aware of what their player base wants and how to treat them well. Packs are not a resource you struggle with and in-game rewards are always plentiful. Events are frequent, keeping the game exciting and fun. I\'ve been in this game for over a year and a half (joined bahamut\'s rage) at first, like many players, I was destroyed, but I started to feel it as I played more and more. The game itself is a lot of fun and offers a wide variety of cards and architectures for you to try out! I noticed that over time and with the release of new card expansions, many cards were broken. Normally they get fixed quickly, but now things like reviving the pest sort the mail and are almost killed instantly. Other balance issues stem from the fact that most new card expansions release cards that are weaker than bahamut and older expansions make the higher decks very expensive. Back then you could buy a legend and decimate the board, but now you may need to buy 3 à legends for the same effectiveness (like protobahamut). Most of all, I love this game and recommend it to all card game players! Be ready to take some time to get used to the mechanics. A great card game with a friendly community. Goal based play style (change every patch or so). God-tire animation and card design. Wonderful voice actors in English and Japanese. And, above all, horrible and weird Jap-Eng translation for dialogues.
